Privacy Policy
Profitalyzer is designed to collect only what is needed to run the service. This policy explains what happens when you use the free browser-based tools, create an account, choose to save work, or allow analytics.
1. Using the core tools without an account
Core calculators, comparisons, forecasts and personal-budget calculations run in your browser. Values are not uploaded to Profitalyzer merely because you type them into a tool. Browser storage is used for preferences such as language, currency and theme. Forecast, budget and scenario drafts are kept only for the current browser session unless you explicitly save them to a signed-in account.
2. Account information
If you create an account, authentication is handled by Clerk. Profitalyzer may receive and store an account identifier, email address, display name, signup and last-active timestamps, plan/status, and business-profile information you choose to provide, such as business name, country, currency, industry, website and financial-year start.
Profitalyzer does not receive or store your Clerk password.
3. Saved financial work
Saving is optional and requires a signed-in account. When you press a Save button, the selected forecast, budget, calculation, comparison or other supported item is sent to Profitalyzer’s cloud service and associated with your authenticated account so it can be reopened on another device. Profitalyzer does not upload a draft simply because you are editing it.
The administration interface is intentionally designed to show account, business and usage metadata rather than the contents of saved financial work. Because saved items are stored by Profitalyzer so they can be returned to your signed-in account, the service infrastructure technically processes and stores that content. Do not use the service as a substitute for a regulated accounting, banking or confidential-records repository.
4. What administrators can see in the product
| Information | Admin console |
|---|---|
| Account email, display name, account ID, signup/last-active timestamps | Available for account operation and support |
| Business-profile metadata such as business name, country, currency and industry | Available |
| Saved-item counts, type, size and timestamps | Available |
| Contents of saved financial forecasts, budgets, calculations and comparisons | Not displayed in the Profitalyzer admin console |
| Your authentication password | Not available to Profitalyzer |
5. Analytics and cookies
Profitalyzer uses Google Analytics only after analytics consent is granted through the cookie banner. If analytics is rejected, Profitalyzer does not load its Google Analytics tag. Cloudflare may process technical network and security information to deliver and protect the service. See the Cookie Policy.
6. Service providers
Profitalyzer uses Cloudflare for hosting, serverless processing and database infrastructure; Clerk for authentication; and Google Analytics where the visitor consents to analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documentation.
7. Why information is processed
Information is processed to provide requested features, authenticate accounts, save user-selected work, apply usage limits, secure the service, prevent abuse, provide support, understand consented website usage and maintain reliability.
8. Sharing and sale
Profitalyzer does not sell personal or financial information and does not use saved financial figures to build advertising profiles. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate Profitalyzer or disclosed where legally required.
9. Retention, export and deletion
Account and saved data is retained while the account is active or as reasonably needed to provide the service and meet legal or security obligations. Signed-in users can download account data, delete saved data, and delete their account from the Account page. Current-session draft data ends with the browser session and can also be cleared from the relevant tool.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or other controls over personal information. You can withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. Contact connect@profitalyzer.com for requests that cannot be completed in the product.
11. Security
Profitalyzer uses Clerk authentication, server-side authorization, request protection, per-user access controls and Cloudflare infrastructure. Saved items are returned only after the backend verifies the signed-in user. No system can guarantee absolute security; users should keep their account secure and avoid saving information that is unnecessary for the intended planning purpose.
12. International use
Profitalyzer is available internationally. Service providers and technical infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable safeguards and terms.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated as Profitalyzer adds integrations, AI features, payment plans or other services. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, requesting additional consent.
Important: This policy describes the current technical design. Before a broad commercial launch or monetization across multiple jurisdictions, obtain legal review appropriate to where Profitalyzer operates and targets users.
